A FOCUSED FIRST CHAPTER
Architectural takeoff. Five scopes to start.
We’re starting where drawings, finish schedules and estimates meet. One architectural package, with a clear boundary around the work.
Five connected disciplines.
One reviewable estimate.
01Floors & tiling
m² / m
Areas, finish types, skirting and opening deductions, connected to room and finish schedules.
Measured items, deductions and inferred allowances must remain distinguishable.02Partitions & blockwork
m / m²
Wall types, lengths, heights and deductions. Unstated heights and assembly assumptions need explicit review.
Measured items, deductions and inferred allowances must remain distinguishable.03Ceilings
m² / m
Ceiling zones, types, bulkheads and finish schedules, reconciled against the reflected ceiling plan.
Measured items, deductions and inferred allowances must remain distinguishable.04Wall finishes & painting
m²
Surface areas by finish and substrate, with deductions and preparation assumptions kept visible.
Measured items, deductions and inferred allowances must remain distinguishable.05Doors, windows & glazing
nr / m²
Schedule counts, dimensions and types, with clear separation of measured items and supplier quotation needs.
Measured items, deductions and inferred allowances must remain distinguishable.THE INPUTS
Start with the package.
The pilot will focus on architectural PDFs, details, finish schedules and existing BOQs. Drawing quality, scale and missing information will determine what can be accepted.
THE BOUNDARIES
A clear scope earns trust.
MEP, civil, structural detailing, bespoke fabrication and automatic 3D reconstruction are outside the planned architectural launch. Every pilot package will have agreed inclusions and exclusions.
